Technology Interest Group

Technology Interest Group

Wednesday, May 28, 2025 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

This meeting we will be Show and Tell.

Tell us what you have been doing with technology.
Show us on the big screen or bring an example.
Share what you are learning and get advice if you need it.

If you have been playing a really cool game, give us a demo.
If you have discovered an awesome AI site, show us how you use it.
If you are using a new software tool, explain how it helps you create.
If you have an idea for a new business, give us a mini-pitch.

These meetings are a chance to share your ideas and hear from others.  They are a lot of fun.

The Technology Interest Group is a bi-monthly (twice per month on the second and fourth Wednesdays 6pm-8pm) meeting for students, hobbyists and professionals to discuss technology projects and ideas in a supportive and social atmosphere. Participants should not disclose confidential information to the group as there are no expressed or implied non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

Each meeting will have a designated group leader who will facilitate:

  • A featured speaker to present their project or other topic for up to 30 minutes (including Q&A), and
  • Unstructured conversations at tables around the room based upon those present and the topics of interest that emerge.

Potential topics of interest:
