Join us for an interactive discussion with renowned inventor Alan Amron, creator of the first battery operated water gun toys, the Digital Photo Wallet for Nikon camera, the first ever Sticky Note known today as the Post-it note by 3M, first down laser line for NFL football and the Dynamic Barcode that changes periodically to prevent digital ticket fraud presently being used by all digital ticketing companies worldwide.

Alan has 45 years experience in product innovation and meaningful change in business performance through product improvements. As an Inventor, his work has been awarded over 40 United States utility patents which have grossed well over $250M in total revenue.
The Technology Interest Group is a bi-monthly (twice per month on the second and fourth Wednesdays 6pm-8pm) meeting for students, hobbyists and professionals to discuss technology projects and ideas in a supportive and social atmosphere. The focus is on interpersonal networking, sharing information in order to build skills, and advancing personal/professional projects. Participants should not disclose confidential information to the group as there are no expressed or implied non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
Each meeting will have a designated group leader who will facilitate:
- A featured speaker to present their project or other topic for up to 30 minutes (including Q&A), and
- Unstructured conversations at tables around the room based upon those present and the topics of interest that emerge.
