Every successful business is built on a solid foundation. This class will help you decide if you're ready to start a business, then evaluate your business idea and ensure you're taking the steps to increase the chances of a successful launch. 

Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Advisors will help you understand: Your personal readiness to start a business, 

How to perform market research and interpret the information,

 Whether your business idea is viable AND feasible (including the identification of startup costs), 

How to write a business plan and develop a financial projection, 

Financing options available, and Specific steps to take as you launch a business. 

Upon registration, you will receive a link to participant materials for this class, including a 34-page Guide to Starting a Business workbook. If you sign up to attend in-person, you will receive printed copies of these materials at the beginning of the class.

 After completing the workshop, participants are invited to sign up for 1:1, no-cost counseling with a Southwest Indiana SBDC Business Advisor. 

This event is being held in-person with a virtual option available via Zoom. Click this link for directions to the Browning Event Room at Evansville Public Library Central which has free parking. 

Pizza will be provided during this event; please bring your own drink.
