Doing Business with Africa Conference scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023, 11:15am – 5:30pm

The Indiana District Export Council and the US Department of Commerce are excited to announce a half-day seminar devoted to exploring business opportunities between Indiana and the nations of Africa at the Carmichael Hotel in Carmel, Indiana. Featuring keynote speakers Ramiro Cabral, President, Elanco International, and Danica R. Starks, Senior U.S. Liaison to the World Bank and African Development Bank, the seminar will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge regarding African customs and commerce and how best to engage for long-term business success. 

The African continent will experience the world’s fastest economic growth for the next quarter century. Rich in resources and opportunity, it will be home to more than half of the world’s population growth through 2050, while also demographically being its youngest. 

Tickets can be purchased online at Doing Business with Africa at the early bird rate of $45 through April 21. General admission tickets for $55 will be available through 6 pm on May 2. Due to the event including lunch, registration will not be available at the door.
