Today’s Story: Joshua Hill, Michael Blair, and Amelia Blair

Response Medical Training is a veteran and woman owned company was created to help bring First Aid and CPR back to the community. Joshua Hill, Michael Blair, and Amelia Blair have an experience level of over 50 years in Emergency Medical Services, EMS, (Paramedics, RNs, and EMT’s) and over 25 years of teaching. Within that time, they have noticed that there is a significant deficit between what happens before they arrive on scene and when they arrive on scene, and their goal is to help bridge that gap.  They teach both American Heart Association and American Red Cross classes.

At Response Medical Training they are looking to teach the lay person (not EMS) the basics skills of adult and child first aid, CPR, and AED needed so that if those skills must be used, they would be performed correctly. Sure, you can call 911 and if you must perform CPR then you can try to learn how to perform compressions over the phone from a dispatcher OR you can have the first-hand knowledge and skills to be able to perform proper chest compressions to give a person a better chance of survival.

Being in healthcare for a while now, they also know that the need for in-person BLS skills is important, so they also offer classes to anyone that is looking to start their career in the healthcare field or is needing to recertify their existing certification to keep their job.
