Today’s Story: Amanda Coburn, Vanderburgh Humane Society 

When discussing issues in our community, pets are often left out of the conversation. This is a mistake. Like it or not, pets factor into most big household decisions and community stakeholders must consider this among basic human social services needs. Amanda Coburn with the VHS will highlight how people of all socioeconomic backgrounds deserve the love of a pet, and how local agencies are collaborating in brand-new ways to reach more of our community’s animals than ever before in 2023.
