The Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Indiana Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation are excited to offer a series of free educational webinars for Hoosier business owners who are considering selling their businesses or beginning the process of succession planning. Attendance is anonymous to other attendees.
These events will cover topics such as determining value, identifying resources for legal guidance and developing a succession plan.
The second one-hour webinar, “Beyond the Traditional Sale: Three Unique Exit Strategies,” is set for November 2.
Description: Business owners considering their next chapter have more options than a traditional sale. This webinar will explore three distinct exit strategies – family office, employee ownership and entrepreneurship through acquisition – and offer practical insights to help owners evaluate which approach may best support the future of their company, employees and legacy.
Speakers: Brian Schutt, director of Indiana’s Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is the discussion facilitator. Panelists include Gant Elmore, partner, Elmore Companies; Christina Gonsalves Newbrough, head of revenue, Common Trust; and Nick Smarrelli, director of the Butler Entrepreneurship Program, Butler University.
