Technology Interest Group

Wednesday, July 9, 2025 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Our meeting this week focuses on the tools we use to make our projects happen.

We will start with a presentation about how to use Slack - our TIG collaboration tool.

Then it is time to share what tools we use to get things done.

What do you use for:
Code development
CAD
Slicers
Video editing
Music / audio editing
Web development
App development
Project Management
Accounting
or even physical tools:
3D printers
laser engravers
CNC routers
PCB reflow oven
Microscopes
Soldering equipment

If you have a short demo, all the better.

The Technology Interest Group is a bi-monthly (twice per month on the second and fourth Wednesdays 6pm-8pm) meeting for students, hobbyists and professionals to discuss technology projects and ideas in a supportive and social atmosphere. • Unstructured conversations at tables around the room based upon those present and the topics of interest that emerge.
