At this week's meeting Larry Manson will show us how he uses free software to print 3D objects from projects he finds on the internet and also how he designs new projects. If you are considering buying a 3D printer or know of one you can use, this will let you learn a little more about what you might be getting into with this fascinating technology.
The Technology Interest Group is a bi-monthly (twice per month on the second and fourth Wednesdays 6pm-8pm) meeting for students, hobbyists and professionals to discuss technology projects and ideas in a supportive and social atmosphere. The focus is on interpersonal networking, sharing information in order to build skills, and advancing personal/professional projects. Participants should not disclose confidential information to the group as there are no expressed or implied non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
