Every business needs a capability statement. A capability statement is a one-page resume for your business. It summarizes the most important features of your business that can be easily and quickly communicated to a current client, prospect, government contracting contact, or potential partner. A capability statement is one of the most important documents in your marketing and contracting tool kits, especially if you are a certified business.

We will be discussing the parts of a capability statement and the type of information that belongs in each of the five main sections. We will look at a few well-done capability statements for inspiration and example. The end of our session will be focused on open Q&A, taking your questions and comments about capability statements. Attendees are welcome to share their capability statements with the group.

Each attendee will receive a template for a capability statement so that you can create your own document.
