Ground Breaking - Lou Dennis Community Park

Join us for the groundbreaking of the Lou Dennis Community Park Playground in Newburgh, Indiana tomorrow!

This exciting expansion will create a fully inclusive, ADA-accessible play space designed for children of all abilities, featuring new playground equipment, the Robert Emmett Griffin Obstacle and Fitness Course, shaded seating areas, fencing, and improved safety surfacing. Located next to the existing splash pad, the new park area will bring together multiple recreational amenities in one connected space for families to enjoy.

Construction will be led by Midstates Recreation, with completion expected by the end of summer 2026.
