United Way Hosts Spring Day of Caring

27th annual event is a reschedule from Fall

United Way of Southwestern Indiana is delighted to host the Day of Caring, which has been rescheduled for the Fall due to the surge of the omicron variant. Day of Caring is the largest one-day volunteer event in the region.

WHEN:         Friday, April 22nd

7:00 am Doors open and the breakfast buffet begins

7:30 am Program begins

8:30 am Send-off to volunteer assignments

WHO:           United Way of Southwestern Indiana, local nonprofit agencies & volunteers

WHAT:          27th Annual Day of Caring

WHERE:       Old National Events Plaza Exhibit Hall


DETAILS:       The Day of Caring brings together hundreds of volunteers who spend the day helping local nonprofit agencies with a variety of projects. This year’s Day of Caring breakfast will feature an inspirational keynote from Sean Georges, author, and co-founder of On Mission Leadership, as well as the presentation of the McGary Jones Visionary & Humanitarian Award. Former WFIE Sunrise Anchor, Dan Katz, will serve as emcee. After a delicious, hot breakfast and uplifting program, volunteers will head out to their respective assignments.
