The DOWNTOWN EVANSVILLE – Economic Improvement District (EID) is hosting their fourth annual Sidewalk Sale Presented by Edward Jones Jim Back, CFP ® Financial Advisor on Saturday May 7 from 9 AM – 2 PM. 

The event, billed as Evansville’s longest street sale, will feature more than 100+ merchants, makers, vendors, and residents selling items on Main Street (from 2nd to 6th Streets). 

“The interest in this event has increased tenfold since we started in 2018. We continue to have community members from all across the city register to sell their handmade, vendor, and household items. We’re welcoming more than 100 participants selling everything from handmade cutting boards to jewelry and clothing,” said Josh Armstrong, president, EID. 

Since last year 14 new businesses have opened in Downtown Evansville. Downtown stores and restaurants will be open and offering special deals. Local food trucks Loaded Fry Shack and Up in Smoke will be serving food at the event. Downtown restaurants will also be open for customers. Public restrooms will be accessible for guests at the corner of Fourth and Main Streets.
