Under the guidance of the Wellness Coordinator, the Wellness Center Staff are responsible for working with members in a courteous and motivating manner. This position works independently under general direction of the Wellness Coordinator. Candidates must be a self-starter and have a passion for relationship-building.

Job responsibilities will include the following:

• Uphold the Wellness Center Rules and Policies
• Assist members in equipment usage
• Lead Wellness Orientations to Youth and Adults
• Help maintain a clean and organized Wellness Center

Requirements:

• Lift up to 45lbs
• Outstanding problem-solving, customer service and communication skills
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
• YMCA Required Trainings (New employee orientation, CPR, First Aid, AED, Blood-borne pathogens, etc) within the first 90 days
• Experience using a computer
