Job Duties:

  • Analyzes work processes accurately to assure that maximum productivity levels are maintained for all jobs and maintains proper ratios of staff to people supported.
  • Effectively tracks production levels, downtime, and progress of goals, and logs them daily in the assigned file location.
  • Tracks inventory in an efficient accurate manner.
  • Is Arc Industries’ representative with the customer and assists the Production Manager and Director of Operations and Business Development by communicating all necessary information.
  • Prepares production and activity reports accurately daily, and tracks times and work schedules.
  • Makes production assignments for work areas.
  • Maintains safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices as required by the customer.
  • Assists with the person-supported intervention on behaviors and work habits using acceptable conflict prevention interactions and techniques.  Works with all team members and Program Coordinators for Work Services assisting people supported in meeting their Career Development goals.
  • Assists in implementing alternate programs during periods of no work with input from the Manager of Work Services.
  • Resolves person-supported issues and errors as they arise by acting as the first point of contact.
  • Maintains the ACCEL person-supported system by ensuring that names, task descriptions, jobs, and threshold values are updated.
  • Works closely with IT departments and other departments on a monthly or as-needed basis to discuss ways of improvement, enhancements, and issues.

 

Supervision of Staff and Person supported Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising the work activities of all Team Members, Production Floor Helpers, temporary staff from leasing companies, and people supported assigned to the off-site work location. 
  • Coordinates staffing including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, and supervision and performance management activities for employees.
  • Completes the required employee, person-supported, and enclave documentation.
  • Enters data accurately and approves daily time and attendance in ACCEL to appropriately track both the hours worked for both staff; jobs completed; and person-supported progress on meeting goals. 
  • Maintains ACCEL in the person-supported billing system in the appropriate manner.
  • Oversees Team Member III and covers in absence the medication administration needed by people supported, Maintains the medication cart, tracks medications administered, and communicates with family/staff when medication quantities are low.

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or high school equivalent (HSE) required; 5 or more years of manufacturing experience; one to three years of supervisory/management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Must have good keyboarding skills and be able to enter in a timely and accurate manner all information into the Agency’s Person supported Billing system, ACCEL.
  • Must have good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to calculate accurate production numbers using simple mathematical formulas and have strongly written (grammar, spelling, punctuation), and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to be calm and productive in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
  • Must display a respectful and positive attitude towards customers, people supported, visitors and employees.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills due since the position is working on our customer’s property.
  • Good computer, oral, and written communication skills as well as time management skills.
  • Must be able to work as a contributing team member.
  • Ability to work daily with people supported who exhibit potentially aggressive behavior.
  • Maintains certification for First Aid and CPR and Core A and B for medication administration.
  • Completion of crisis intervention Mandt training upon hire and maintain certification.
  • Ability to work daily with people supported who exhibit potentially aggressive behavior.
  • Must pass a Department of Motor Vehicles background check and hold a valid driver’s license
  • Minimum insurance coverage amounts for automobile insurance for all vehicles an employee may drive on Agency business must be $100,000 Bodily Injury Limit Each Person; $300,000 Bodily Injury Limit per occurrence; $100,000 Property Damage Limit.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this job

 

Physical Demands

  • Requires the ability to hear, see, talk, read, and write consistently.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands/arms.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and crawling.
  • Must be able to be on feet all day.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
