Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Specialist will drive awareness of UFB and its offerings through the planning and execution of campaigns in the online space including, but not limited to, all forms of social medial, digital marketing, and online reputation management.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for conceptualizing and producing curated content with direction from Management.
- Create content and implements all social media initiatives.
- Provide monthly analysis and reporting on our social media and digital platforms.
- Assists with the planning and execution of (and participates in) customer/community bank functions.
- Assist with projects as needed.
- Monitor social media conversations, engage in conversations on behalf of the brand, and collaborate with internal teams to craft responses when necessary.
- Proactively advise on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices that can support UFB’s objective of being the premier banking institution.
- Partner with internal groups to establish and achieve business goals in planning, deploying, and measuring all marketing initiatives.
- Analysis of current market conditions and competitor information.
- Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget.
- Review, maintain, and perform updates via WordPress to corporate websites and Intranet.
- Participate in marketing strategic plans and execution of daily activities.
- Perform duties related to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.

- Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- A BS in communications, marketing, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 1+ years’ experience in marketing, public relations, and or/social media.
Physical Requirements of Essential Job Functions:
The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment.
- Extended viewing of computer screens.
- Regular office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm.
- Weekend and evening work will be required.
