Department: Arc Industries Maintenance

Location: Evansville, IN 

We are looking for a Full-Time Custodian at our Arc Industries location. Working hours are Monday through Friday. 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Job Duties:

• Conducts self professionally with truth, accuracy, fairness, and responsibility.  Commits in daily practice the Code of Conduct and Core Values which includes respect, integrity, commitment, recognition, and excellence to the individuals receiving services and to others.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of offices, break rooms, restrooms, and the lobby area at Arc Industries.
• Ensures windows, floors, restrooms, fixtures, and all other areas are maintained in a sanitary and orderly manner.
• Sets and removes furnishings for meetings, luncheons, banquets, and special events at Arc Industries

Minimum Qualifications:

• One-year work experience in custodial or janitorial duties preferred.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services. 
• Must be able to perform jobs with minimal supervision and assistance.
• Must display a respectful and positive attitude towards associates, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Use correct judgment, initiative, and flexibility to meet job requirements.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Physical Demands:

• Requires the ability to hear, see, talk, read and write on a constant basis.
• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands/arms.
• Must be able to stand on their feet for the majority of their work time, or stoop for extended periods.
• Must be able to push and pull carts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
