The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana is seeking energetic part-time staff to assist with our Child Care Programs: Before/After School, Snow Days, Schools Out Days, and Winter/Spring Break Camp programs. This position is under the direction of the Child Care Coordinators and Director.

Job responsibilities will include the following:

> The Before and After School Counselors will be responsible for the supervision of 8-14 children between the ages of 5-12 years of age at various schools in Posey County, Evansville, Warrick County and North Gibson County. These programs run Monday - Friday, 6:30-8:00 am and 2:30-6:00 pm. The schools are located in Poseyville, Wadesville, Mt. Vernon, Evansville, Newburgh, Boonville, Elberfeld, Lynnville and Princeton.

> The Snow Days, Schools Out Days and Winter/Spring Break Camps are held at the Dunigan YMCA when schools are not in session from 7:00 am-5:30 pm. Counselors will be responsible for the supervision of 8-14 children in grades K-5. 

Requirements: 

> Should have a warm, friendly, and open personality.

> Must be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others. Must be fair to all.

> Should be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with program goals.

> Must be willing and able to communicate with parents and facility officials.

> Assistance in implementation of the daily program under the direction of the Site Director.

> Promote the YMCA Character Development initiative and Core Values.
